Course details:

An overview of bereavement and loss including creative and experiential exercises around understanding bereavement processes and communicating effectively with those who are grieving.

Course leader:

Karen Cook, Bereavement Support Service Manager.

Karen joined the team in 2003 and manages a team of 30 bereavement support volunteers and counsellors while also carrying her own complex bereavement case load. Karen holds the AQA/CSCT Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (Psychodynamic) and is BACP Accredited.
