Why leave a gift in your Will to Treetops Hospice?
Each year it costs around £2 million to provide our services, and with around 70% of our income coming from charitable donations, we do rely heavily on people’s generosity.
Donations, such as leaving a gift in your will, help us to give as many people as possible across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire a real choice over where they access their care.
By 2017, our aim is that Treetops Hospice nurses will be providing end of life care for more than 1,000 patients in their own home each year. In addition, our Day Care Centre in Risley will open on Saturdays for patients who prefer to drop-in to access palliative support and advice.
We estimate that this will cost the hospice an additional £1 million over the next five years. The majority of this will come from charitable donations and our fundraising events.
By leaving a gift to Treetops Hospice in your Will, you are helping to secure the future of the hospice.
How your gift could help us:
- Help us provide support for the guests who attend our Day Care unit each week. We have 115 places every week.
- Help our 40 Hospice at Home nurses take our hospice care into the homes of those needing support in the community
- Provide bereavement counselling and support for those recently bereaved
