07:30 27 October 2008

A GROUP of skydivers have raised more than £2,000 for a Derbyshire hospice.

Derby-based Orchid Business Computing employees Garry Allen, Brad Martin, James Twigg, Nick Gall, Liam Martin and Julie Mills took part in the dive at Langar Airfield, in aid of The Treetops Hospice Ripple Appeal.

Helen Dennison, station assistant at Ashbourne Radio, also raised an additional £500.

Treetops Ripple Appeal aims to raise £2m for a new building at the hospice's site in Risley.
