MORE than £20,000 has been raised for the Treetops Hospice in Risley from a match between Forest and Burton
Albion.
The money was given to the hospice's Ripple Appeal manager Kate Shaw after 2,400 supporters turned up to the match in Burton.
Forest's supporters' club also raised £500 by laying on a coach to the stadium supplied free by Silverdale Coaches.
The Ripple Appeal is to raise £2.5m for a new care centre at the hospice
Forest won the match 3-1 and manager Colin Calderwood said he was delighted so many people turned up.
"I'm aware of the excellent work that Treetops Hospice does and I'm delighted we were able to support them," he said.
