GRANGEWOOD Methodist Church in Wollaton has raised more than £1,000 for Treetops Hospice Ripple Appeal.

The church set a target last year to raise £1,000 and the latest coffee morning pushed the amount to £1,100.

Money has come from a saxophone concert by the Equinox Saxophone Ensemble, a harvest supper, a coffee morning, a Saturday evening dance and one member of the congregation completed a sponsored walk.
