PUB MANAGERS TAKE THE PLUNGE FOR CHARITY
07:30 18 April 2009

REPRESENTATIVES from pubs in Notts and Derbyshire have taken part in a charity sky dive.

The dive at Langar Airfield on March 29 raised £1,500 for Treetops Hospice's Ripple Appeal.

Pubs included The Risley Park in Risley, near Ilkeston and The Carnarvon in Sutton-in-Ashfield. All belong to a Derbyshire group called Probably The Best Pubs In The World. Managers Oliver Munyard, Rob Earlam, Tim Gough, Gavin Hird and Kim Taylor took part.

The hospice – which provides palliative care for people with life-limiting illnesses – wants to raise £1m for new care facilities. For more information call 0115 939 4551, email kshaw@treetopshospice.org.uk or visit www.justgiving.com/treetopshospice.
