BEEFSTOCK FESTIVAL'S £2,000 HOSPICE BOOST

A MUSIC festival has raised more than £2,000 for Treetops Hospice's care centre appeal.

The third annual Beefstock event, held in Derbyshire, saw performances by bands including Pro Rata, Left Hand Drive and Omen Searcher.

Fund-raising attractions included a bucking bronco, cake stall, tombola, real ale tent and a book stall.

Money was brought in for the Risley hospice's Ripple Appeal.
