RESIDENTS took on police and raised £152.49 in a cricket
match for Treetops Hospice.
The match was held at Risley Cricket Ground , with police and PCSOs
playing alongside the public.
Drinks and a barbecue were also available, with proceeds going to
Treetops Hospice's Ripple Appeal, in aid of building a care centre.
PC Chris Gray said: "This
extension would help Treetops treat hundreds more patients every year, dealing with illnesses such as cancer, multiple sclerosis
and heart disease."
