A HOSPICE appeal has a new sponsor.

Risley's Treetops Hospice Ripple Appeal now has a partnership with Rotary International District 1220 Central Group of clubs.

Rotary will be sponsoring the vests that the Treetops Hospice running team will be wearing when they run in this year's Experian Robin Hood Festival of Running.

Appeal manager Kate Shaw said: "We're thrilled to have the support of the Rotary Central Group. It means that we'll be able to purchase running vests for all our half-marathon runners and T-shirts for our fun runners and the team will be easily identifiable on race day."

David Pedlar, assistant governor of Rotary Central Group, said: "It's a real pleasure to be able to support such a deserving local cause and I wish all the runners the best of luck.

"We have a few of our Nottingham Rotarians running in the Treetops Hospice team."
