RIPPLE HELPERS TAKE HOME PRIZE

VOLUNTEER fund-raisers at a Derbyshire hospice have won
an award. Kate's Action Team, or Kats, who are supporting Treetops Hospice's Ripple Appeal
to raise £1m for a new daycare centre, have won the Derbyshire County Council Excellence in the Community Award for
Volunteering.
The team has helped raise thousands and recruited helpers. Kats are Maurice
McIlfatrick, Geoff Saville, Barbra Saville, Jill Jones, Karen Windsor, Margaret Banton, Tom Keely, Pamela Travers, Jo Greer
John Griffiths, Sue Basker and Val Perry.
