PRISON officers have raised £500 for the Treetops Hospice
Ripple Appeal by holding a series of fund-raising events.
Workers at HMP Lowdham Grange
held cake sales and a family fun day to raise the cash.
Director Martin Oates handed a cheque
over to the hospice in Risley, near Ilkeston.
The funding will help pay for a new care centre.
The scheme has £183,000 left to raise and building work will commence by the end of the year.
