NEW BLOCK SCHEME FOR HOSPICE APPEAL

TREETOPS Hospice has launched a fund-raising scheme to help build its new day care centre.

The Risley centre aims to raise £1m for people with life-limiting illnesses as part of its Ripple Appeal. Officials hope to bring in funds with the Buy A Block scheme where residents pay £5 for a model block.

Those who take part will have their name added to the hospice's display board and a book in the new centre.
