A DERBYSHIRE hospice has been given £300 following a raffle
by local businesses.
Treetops Hospice, in Risley, was given the money by members of Business Network
Nottingham.
Kate Shaw, of Treetops, said: "I'm delighted to receive the donation from
this network.
"I always enjoy their meetings and it's fantastic to have all the companies
supporting the charity in this way."
Peter Motley, chief executive of the Business Network,
said: "We have been overwhelmed by our members' and guests' generosity in bringing gifts to raffle."
Treetops provides palliative care for
people with life-limiting illnesses such as cancer and motor neurone disease.
