CALL CENTRE STAFF DRESS DOWN FOR HOSPICE APPEAL
07:30 21 January 2010
A DERBYSHIRE hospice has been given £400 by staff who paid to take part
in a dress-down day at work.
Workers at Nottingham call centre Domestic and General donned jeans
and t-shirts to raise money for Risley-based Treetops Hospice.
Kate Shaw, from Treetops, said:
"I'm delighted that Domestic and General staff have shown their commitment to the appeal in this way. It is a really
important time in our fundraising as building work has now started at the hospice."
Deborah
Martin, operations manager at D&G, said: "We are pleased to support Treetops and do our bit for local charities.
They provide a great service and we are only too happy to help out."
