Be a Shop Volunteer

Volunteering at Treetops Hospice Shops is another valuable way of supporting the charity's work.

 

Volunteers perform a variety of duties within the shops including sorting, pricing, and serving customers. Volunteers are encouraged to try all tasks, but most shops can accommodate anyone with a definite preference.

 

Volunteers with specialist expertise, for example knowledge about antiques, books or collectibles, are also extremely welcome.

 

Many people find volunteering an extremely rewarding experience - providing an opportunity to meet new people, make friends, and have fun, while being part of a valued team.

 

Volunteers are asked to commit to just one  3 or 4 hour session a week, and attend an introductory meeting at the hospice, although you can choose to do more than one shift if you are able. Volunteers are also invited to social events at the hospice.
