The hospice is a registered charity (no 519540) and a company limited by guarantee (no 1801708).
A Board of Trustees sets the vision and direction of the hospice; they have overall responsibility for ensuring
that the hospice is soundly managed. We have thirteen Trustees from a variety of backgrounds who bring a wealth of experience
and knowledge to the Hospice. All volunteer their time to support us in this way.
Our Chief Executive, Clare Janes, has responsibility for the day-to-day management of the organisation, a team
of managers support her, overseeing the work in the different departments of the hospice.
Seventy-three paid staff, both full and part time, undertake both administrative and nursing roles, over half
of these are nurses. Nearly 400 voluntary staff also support the work of the hospice. Together these individuals form the
working groups that deliver the services that Treetops provides.
Patients at Treetops have also established a ‘Users Group’ to ensure the direction the organisation
is going is where they want it too
