What
does this service offer me?
If you
have a life-limiting illness and feel isolated from friends and family, a volunteer will visit you and provide companionship.
They can do simple tasks, such as making a cup of tea, or if you are able to go out, they could take you shopping. If your
carer would like to have a couple of hours out of the house on their own, a volunteer can stay with you giving your carer
a break and making sure that you are ok.
Visits
might be provided on a ‘one-off’ or regular basis depending on what you need.
