The care and support Treetops gives to people
and their families does not end when someone dies. The death of someone we love can be painful and we are here to support
you through this difficult time if you would like our help.
Who offers the Support?
The service is managed by the Bereavement
Support Worker, who is a qualified counsellor, and is provided by trained bereavement support volunteers, counsellors-in-training
and other qualified counsellors.
How do I access support?
Telephone the Bereavement Support Worker
between 8.30 am and 4.30 pm,Monday to Friday. You will be able to arrange a time when she can visit you at home to talk about
what support you may need.

support in your own home or the opportunity to join a monthly support group at the Hospice. Occasionally you may be directed
to another, more appropriate service.

The service is available for as long as
is felt appropriate by yourself and your support worker. You are free to end your support at any time and to take up support
again in the future if you wish.
How much does it cost?
There are no charges for this service, but
voluntary donations are always welcome.
When can I ask for support?
Whenever you
wish – there is no limit, and you can ask for support weeks, months or years following the death of your loved-one.
