Indie music lovers are being invited to enjoy the sounds of five bands to raise money for a Derbyshire
charity.
Treetops Hospice, in Risley, is organising the gig at the Vic Inn, in Midland Place, on Sunday, November 4.
On
the bill are five Cardiff-based bands, all with Derby links, who have offered to play in aid of the Treetops Hospice Ripple
Appeal fund. They are The School, Pagan Wanderer LU, Silence at Sea, Last Arrow and Yanmolby.
The show is open to over-18s
and tickets are £5 in advance or £6 on the door.
The Treetops Ripple appeal is an ongoing campaign to raise £2.5m for
a much-needed care and education centre at the hospice.
The hospice provides care to patients with life-limiting illnesses
such as cancer and heart disease.
It is hoped the gig will appeal to a new, younger group of potential supporters.
