BEREAVEMENT TRAINING

Treetops Hospice can offer bespoke training and workshops to enable you or your organisation to support a child or young person who has been bereaved.

This would be provided by Penny Lockwood who is a social worker with a Postgraduate Certificate in Childhood Bereavement. 

As part of the Families Bereavement Support Service, Penny can offer:

• Advice and consultancy to professionals dealing with bereaved children and families
• One day training event in Supporting Bereaved Children and Families, as part of the Treetops Hospice education programme
• Workshops at conferences or bespoke training for your organisation, tailored to your needs in terms of dealing with bereaved children. For example, Penny has recently delivered Inset training.
