Full time 37 hours per week
£23,000 – £26,000

We’re looking for someone to raise money from trusts and foundations like Hospice UK, the National Lottery and Garfield Weston, as well as local and regional grant making bodies.

You’ll create compelling cases for support, research potential funders, prepare funding applications and report the impact of grants received. You’ll support major donor and corporate fundraising by carrying out research and supporting their stewardship. In time, with support, you may take increased responsibility for the major donor income stream.

You’ll have experience in trust fundraising or be able to show how you can apply transferrable skills from another sector such as business planning, journalism or bid writing, in this role.

We are looking for someone who is committed and motivated, who will put the cause first and will value the opportunity and develop in a supportive environment.

The Relationships Manager will have two years equivalent experience in this fundraising stream; but for the right candidate, who may have less experience but demonstrate skills, knowledge, and aptitude, we will consider appointing at Engagement Officer level (£23,000 – £24,000) and supporting your development to the manager position.

We are a friendly bunch of people and have lovely grounds to walk around at lunch time, and parking won’t cost you a penny. If you want to work from home sometimes, we support hybrid working.
