Throughout October and November, teams took on the Treetops Accumulator Challenge to turn £50 into hundreds for the charity - with great success!

Over £3,000 has been raised in the Treetops Accumulator Challenge which has seen a variety of teams abseiling, bake sales, quizzes, raffles and more.

Treetops, based in Risley, provides emotional support and nursing care for adults with life limiting conditions, and those who’ve been bereaved, and their families, living in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

Wellbeing Wanderers

Of those that took part, the ‘Wellbeing Wanderers’ – made up of staff, volunteers and patients from the Treetops Wellbeing Space – raised over £1,170!

The ‘Most Collaborative Team’ was awarded to Blue Arrow for many hours of baking for wonderful bake sales and Team Rolls Royce were the ‘Most Innovative’ with their idea of managers as slaves for the day and ‘fruit ninja’.

Abseiling for Treetops

The Treetops Fundraising Team even got involved, joining up with residential property developer Barratt Homes to tackle an 80ft abseil.

Huge thanks for raising so much

Laura McWha, corporate partnership fundraiser, said:

“Our huge thanks to all the local businesses, and teams from Treetops, for joining in with the challenge and raising so much for the hospice.

“Let’s hope next year is just as much fun!”
