The money raised will go towards providing nursing care and emotional support for adults with a life-limiting illness, and those who’ve been bereaved. Registered charity Treetops Hospice Care, based in Risley, supports over 1,800 patients every year, and their loved ones.
Fundraising efforts by Barratt and David Wilson Homes North Midlands included a hike through Derbyshire countryside and a company golf day followed by an evening event.
Employees continued their fundraising throughout the year with a ‘Barratt Bake Off’, dress down days and raffles.
The total of £21,535 includes a match funding donation by parent company Barratt Developments.
Barratt and David Wilson Homes representatives Sandra Gordon, Jack Donnelly and Abi Garvey met with Ian Fraser, Treetops Head of Fundraising and Laura McWha, Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser at the hospice.
