The hospice, based in Risley, is expecting over 1,000 children and families to search their grounds for Easter Eggs between 9am and 1pm.
Treetops Hospice Care provides nursing care and emotional support for adults, their families and carers across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire free of charge.
Help us raise money for a very worthwhile cause
Senior community and events fundraiser, Mary Rose, explained more:
“Our annual Easter Egg Hunt is always really, really popular with families coming from across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire to enjoy hunting around our 12 acre site.
“This year we’re delighted to welcome the Easter Bunny and TV favourite Peppa Pig to the event and we know they will help to put a smile on children’s faces – and help us raise money for a very worthwhile local cause at the same time.”
The Easter Egg Hunt takes place on Saturday 15 April at Treetops Hospice Care, Derby Road, Risley, DE72 3SS and will also feature a bouncy castle, fairground rides and refreshment stalls. Each child will get to take home an egg.
Entry costs £4 per child (including Easter Egg Hunt, Easter Egg and free children’s activity area) and £1 for adults.
Treetops services are available free of charge and include Support and Information, a Day Care unit based in Risley, Hospice at Home nurses and Therapeutic Services including counselling and complementary therapy.
