Writing your Will is beneficial at any stage of life. If you get married, buy a property or have a family, these changes will directly affect your estate.
During March 2020, local solicitors across South Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire have donated a number of appointments to help you make, or update, your Will.
Instead of paying the solicitor for their expertise, your donation will come to Treetops Hospice Care instead.
The following solicitors are participating in Make a Will Month:
- Flint Bishop (Derby branch)
- Four Seasons Future Planning (home visits and meetings at Treetops Hospice Care, Risley)
- Rotheras (Beeston, Long Eaton and Wollaton branches)
Our suggested minimum donation is £100 for a basic Will or £180 for a pair of simple mirror Wills.
This money will go directly to supporting patients at Treetops Hospice Care, so thank you for your support.
Please complete the form below to register for Make a Will Month. Once you have made your donation, a member of the Fundraising Team will contact you with further details of how to make your appointment with your chosen solicitors.Make a Will Month Registration Form
How does your donation help Treetops?
Treetops provides care for people who are nearing the end of their life. As a charity, we rely on voluntary donations to continue our vital work.
What your donation will help pay for:
- £54 – a counselling session for a child, adult or family
- £87 – a supported bathing session
- £301 – an overnight Hospice at Home nursing shift
- £696 – a place on our 8 week Wellbeing Programme
Thank you to all our participating solicitors and will writers who have so kindly and generously waived their fees in lieu of a donation to the hospice for the month of March. We are so grateful for their continuing support.
Gifts in Wills to Treetops Hospice Care
There is no obligation as part of this scheme to leave a gift to Treetops Hospice Care in your Will. However, once you have provided for your loved ones, any gift you leave to Treetops – no matter what size – will help to ensure patients and their loved ones are supported by Treetops for years to come.
