Bookings are now open for Christmas Treecycling
Let Treetops take the hassle out of Christmas. No more struggling to fit your tree into the car or dealing with messy pine needles. In exchange for a donation, we will collect and recycle your real Christmas tree.
Christmas Treecycling is available in the following postcode areas:
NG9, NG10, NG16, DE1, DE21, DE22, DE23, DE3, DE56, DE7, DE72, DE73, DE74, DE75.
Our volunteers will collect your tree from outside your house between 5-10 January 2024. We cannot confirm a specific date and time. It's then passed to Ward Recycling to be recycled. It’s that simple!
With the support of Ward, we’re aiming to recycle 1,000 Christmas trees. Help us make our community greener and more sustainable.
Registration closes at midnight on 3 January 2024 or earlier if we reach capacity. Register now to avoid disappointment.
How your donation makes a difference
You can choose the value of your donation knowing your tree will help local patients and families.
Here are just a few ways you could help:

£12
helps provide a patient who is at the very end of life, with an hour of Hospice at Home nursing care.
£20
helps two bereaved children receive resources that will help them to process their feelings.
£31
helps a lonely and isolated person with a life-limiting illness to have the companionship of a befriender.
Other organisations may dispose of your Christmas tree for no cost.
