A beautiful glowing Christmas tree in a forest at night

Dedicate lights on our tree in memory of your loved ones

Christmas is a special time when we think of those who were once so close to us. With a smile and a tear, you’ll remember your loved ones and you’ll want to keep their memory alive. You’re not alone.

We invite you to dedicate a light on our virtual Christmas tree in memory of a relative or friend. Each light is a life remembered and a memory that lives on.  Each light will also help to keep us nursing.

You can choose your light, write a message and add a photograph.  If we receive your dedication by 21 November, the names of your loved ones will be included in our online service.

Light Up A Life Service

Our annual Light Up A Life Service is a free remembrance event held at Christmas time. It is a beautiful way to honour a loved one’s memory at this special time of year. As it is online you can come together with friends and family near and far and take time to remember.

The filmed service will be shown online here (via the link below) at 6pm on Sunday 5 December 2021, and be available afterwards for you to view at your convenience.

In the past we have hosted this service here at the hospice, however this year we have decided it is safest to hold the service online.

Mum, we remember you everyday. You’re a part of us and everything we do. We remember you always, especially at Christmas.
