Dedicate a light on the Treetops Light up a Life Tree

Every year, hundreds of people remember a loved one with a light on the Treetops Light up a Life Tree. This year we have introduced stars on our tree.

Remembering someone special at Christmas

This Christmas will be the first Christmas Tracey has without her husband Dom. Before he died, he asked not to be forgotten, so this year Tracey is dedicating a light to him on the Treetops Light up a Life Tree. It’s her way of giving the gift of care to another local family who needs Treetops, like they did.

Treetops were able to give us reassurance, comfort and peace at a time when I was terrified.

Please join me in dedicating a light on the Treetops Light up a Life Tree this year and help offer other families the same comfort.

It is simple to dedicate a light:

Once you have done this, you and your family can see the tree at anytime from anywhere.  If you would prefer to complete a form for us to put your light and message on the virtual tree, please call Rebecca on 0115 865 6033

You can make a donation of any value for a light. There is a minimum donation for stars.

You can have more than one light and choose the value of your donation knowing it will help Treetops to care for people across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

You and your family do not need to have received care from the hospice to be able to have a light.

How your light helps others

You can choose the value of your donation knowing your light will help local patients and families.

Here are just a few ways you could help:

£12

Helps to provide a refreshment at the Treetops Bereavement Café

£24

Helps our nurses visit a patient's home to provide care and support for two hours.

£67

Helps a family who are caring for a loved one during the night receive a visit from our Roaming Nurses

£108

Helps provide a patient like Dom, who is at the very end of life, with a night of Hospice at Home Nursing Care
