Volunteers are very valuable to us here at Treetops Hospice. We regularly hold celebration events to show our appreciation and to recognise volunteers with Long Service Awards.

Lisa: “Treetops is a great place to volunteer”
Lisa Patrick has been volunteering at Treetops Hospice for almost six years. Lisa, who is married and lives in Long Eaton, helps in the Wellbeing Space, reception and also volunteers at our fundraising events.
“I saw on the Treetops website that they were looking for volunteers to do various roles, after a telephone call and a meeting, I attended the initial training course for new care volunteers, and decided that this was exactly what I had been looking for. Treetops is a great place to volunteer. It is friendly and welcoming to everyone
“Whilst volunteering in the Wellbeing Space, I help with a range of tasks which include making drinks and snacks for patients and also, of course, chatting to them.
“Volunteering at Treetops is a great way to meet new people. Our fundraising events are brilliant, and bring everyone together, we have a great time.”
