And they're off - Colour Rush 2017

On Sunday 22 July, children, adults and families will be showered in blue, red, orange and green powder paints as the Treetops Colour Rush returns to Markeaton Park for its third year.

Colour Rush 2017Last year, over 600 people took part raising over £20,000 for Treetops Hospice Care which provides nursing care and emotional support for adults

and their families in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

The 5km Colour Rush starts at 10am and participants can run, jog, walk or skip around the route whilst coloured powder paints are fired from colour stations. Fancy dress is optional but can add to the fun!

Spectacular ocean of colour from start to finish

Mary Rose, senior community and events fundraiser said:

“We love the Colour Rush – it’s one of our favourite Treetops events as it involves the whole family and all age groups.

“It’s a spectacular ocean of colour from start to finish – we even start by firing colour cannons over everyone waiting to set off.

You will be covered from head to toe

“Then at every colour station, even more colour is thrown as you run through so you will be covered from head to toe by the end.

“Registration is now open so come and join us on what’s going to be an amazing, fun event.”
