MIDFIX specialises in a wide range of products and services for supporting pipework, cables, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC). Their employees are involved in a new fundraising challenge every two months in support of several local and national charities carefully chosen by people within the business.
Making a real impact in communities
Adrian Fowler, managing director at MIDFIX explained:
“As a family-owned business, we feel it’s important to promote a sense of community within the company and a CSR programme is a great way to bring people together.
“The staff choose the fundraising challenges, the charities and everything is run by them. It’s fantastic to see so many of our team getting behind these causes and making a real impact in communities across the UK.”
Corporate support is incredibly important to the hospice
Laura McWha, Corporate Partnerships at Treetops Hospice Care said:
“To hear about MIDFIX commitment towards supporting their local was inspiring and we are thrilled with the outcome.
“It is encouraging that a local business has gone to such efforts to support Treetops as they were so inspired by the work we do here. We cannot thank all of the team at MIDFIX enough – corporate support is incredibly important to the hospice and without the generosity of local businesses such as these we would not be able to continue to deliver the services we do.”
