When you are living with a life-limiting illness it can be difficult to know what is most important for you and how to achieve it. Your emotional wellbeing? Your physical health? Maintaining a sense of normality?
Supporting you to care for yourself
Our friendly and supportive team understand that wellbeing is about every area of your life including physical, emotional, spiritual and social aspects.
The Wellbeing programme offers support to help you deal with concerns that may arise as a result of your condition and aims to enhance your capacity to care for yourself.
Giving you skills and knowledge
The workshops and sessions are created to give you the skills and knowledge to be able to manage and maintain your quality of life. You can learn coping strategies for dealing with physical concerns, mindfulness to build your emotional resilience, and relaxation techniques to help you unwind. The programme also covers future planning, gentle exercise, and day-to-day symptom management.
