Treetops is delighted to have been chosen as the charity retailer at this year’s Off the Tracks Festival, held at Donnington Park Farm House.

‘Off the Tracks’ is a popular, non-corporate festival running from Friday 31 August to Sunday 2 September.

As charity retailer for the event, Treetops will be selling vintage, retro and festival style clothing as well as fancy-dress items to sell on a stall.

Donations of good quality items, accessories as well as clothing, are welcomed so the Treetops festival stall will be stocked to the seams!

Donations can be made at the main hospice in Risley or taken to any of the Treetops charity shops.

Unsure of what ‘retro, vintage or festival wear’ means?

Here’s a few example of the kinds of items that would be welcomed:

Retro and vintage clothing

Anything from the mid 1990’s or before… It could be a bowling shirt from the 50’s, cocktail dress from the 60’s, a pair of flares from the 70’s, a lamé jacket from the 80’s or a band t-shirt from the 90’s. A lot of new clothes also have vintage or retro styling – so last year’s dress from Primark that looks like a 1960’s classic also counts!

Festival wear

Anything flashy, colourful, summery, hippy-ish plus wellington boots and rain jackets! Think cut off denim shorts, kaftans, crochet tops, cagoules, logo t-shirts, sequinned dresses and beachy style cover ups, playsuits and jumpsuits and dungarees.

Accessories and other items

Headbands and head scarves, sun hats, funky costume jewellery, over the shoulder handbags and bumbags, sunglasses, sandals, long colourful socks or crazy tights and any re-saleable fancy dress items.

The lists above are just examples – the theme of vintage and festival wear is very broad, so if in doubt, please include it!

We also welcome support from local businesses who would like to organise a festival clothing drive internally for staff and customers. Please contact Laura McWha to register your interest on 0115 9491264 or email

We look forward to receiving your donations.
