Dresses of all different styles, shapes and sizes
Polly Lang, shop manager, explained:
“With the average wedding dress costing over £1000, we know that a lot of brides-to-be simply can’t afford to buy something brand new but still want to look and feel amazing on their wedding day.
“Most women wear their wedding dress just once and then store them away somewhere. We are asking them to please donate their dress so that someone else can create their own memories of a wonderful day in a beautiful dress.
“We welcome dresses of all different styles, shapes and sizes for women of all ages – every customer is different! We’d especially welcome dresses sized 12 and above.
“All our dresses are extremely high quality and we have an appointment system so that all our customers have the time to have a good look around and try things on in a relaxed environment.”
All the dresses were wonderful
Tina Freer from Nottingham bought her wedding dress from the shop when getting married to long-term partner Dan in 2015:
“I was having a small wedding and wanted a cost-effective option as you only wear a wedding dress once. I didn’t want to spend thousands and a friend recommended the Bridal Boutique. I’d only ever been in a charity shop for regular clothes so it never occurred to me to go in for a wedding dress.
“I remember the appointment really well as it was an emotional day and just how I expected a bridal boutique to be. The lady there was really kind and warm and helpful and all the dresses were wonderful. I had really personal attention just as you would want as a bride-to-be.
“I ended up choosing the first dress I tried on and didn’t go anywhere else to look. It was perfect. Everyone said how much it suited me and I felt like a princess in it. I would recommend the Bridal Boutique to anyone.”
