Our real Christmas tree recycling scheme has been a huge success and helped raise thousands for the hospice.

Over 1,000 trees were collected from across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire in our Treetops Treecycling scheme.

Collections were made in return for a donation towards the hospice.

Vic Rocca, Treetops Relationships Manager - Key Events, said:

We’re hugely grateful to everyone who registered their tree for collection and supported us this year. It’s through schemes like Treecycling that we can continue to provide end-of-life nursing care to patients and families in the local community.

Thank you to all our Treecycling volunteers

A team of over 50 local volunteers with vans helped collect trees from driveways.

“We want to say a huge thanks to everyone who’s been involved in collecting trees this year.

Ward Recycling kindly provided us with skips and recycled the trees responsibly for us. We really couldn’t do this without everyone’s help.”

“Next year, we’d love to expand postcode areas so even more households benefit from having their Christmas trees removed and recycled. We’re looking forward to an even bigger and more successful scheme in 2025!”
