Making a substantial donation
Treetops is incredibly grateful to our network of philanthropic supporters.
As a charity, it costs over £11,500 each and every day to run our free services and continue to provide specialist palliative care out in our community. We only receive up to a 30% proportion of our funding from the NHS so we really rely on the generosity of the public, major donors and our Trust & Foundation supporters to help us provide care and make every day count.
Larger donations can make a big difference to what we do and help us plan for the future.
Major gifts and grants can help us to establish a project or expand an existing service. As an example, we are currently seeking funding for a number of activities:
- Enhancing our outdoor spaces
- Furthering capacity in our counselling and bereavement support team
- Establishing new support models with our Compassionate Communities project
- Bringing Wellbeing services into our patients’ homes
- Widening access to end of life care
Donations from Individuals
All donations are important and we thank all our supporters who give what they can. For Treetops, gifts above £1,000 are extremely significant and our dedicated team would be delighted to talk to you about Gift Aid and further ways for your donation to have the greatest impact.
Visits can be arranged at your convenience to discuss ways in which your gift might help. Whether it is a single large donation, support of a new project, or a pledge over a period of years, together we can make a real difference for families in Derbyshire and South Nottinghamshire.
Donations from Trusts & Foundations
We have the pleasure of working with some extremely community-spirited Trust funders who have supported Treetops for many years and we thank them for their continued partnership.
If you are associated with a Trust or Foundation and would like information about our current funding requirements or any aspect of our work, we’d love to hear from you.
