The Treetops Lottery is a highly successful form of fundraising for us. Since 1996, the Treetops Lottery and the people that play, have helped to raise over £8million for hospice care in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
Our lottery wouldn’t have been able to achieve this without our team of fundraisers that visit local events and venues, and go door to door promoting the Treetops Lottery to the local community.
We are looking to expand the team. If you are looking for a role that is flexible, gives you the opportunity to get out and about in your local area, and make a real difference to people living with a life-limiting illness in your local community, read on.
- living in or within travelling distance of the NG and DE postcode areas?
- a car driver with a full driving licence and your own vehicle?
- an effective and engaging communicator, able to strike up a rapport with a stranger in a face-to-face situation?
- self-motivated with a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic?
This position will not be directly employed by Treetops Hospice. You will be employed by a third-party Fundraising Agency.
We are seeking a number of people to work on either a full or part time basis recruiting supporters by promoting the Hospice Lottery by way of monthly direct debit donations.
Working in places such as shops, garden centres, town centres, at hospice events, or visiting people at home, you will become a passionate representative of the hospice. You will gain immense satisfaction from the benefits your hard work produces for us, our patients, and their families.
Previous experience is not essential as training will be provided. You will become a passionate advocate for the hospice movement, enjoy engaging with people from all walks of life, be resilient and determined to succeed.
If you would like to learn more about this opportunity, then we would love to hear from you.
Please send your CV and covering letter to [email protected] in the first instance. We will then forward your application to our Fundraising Agency for consideration.
