Other ways to remember a loved one

Planting a Tree

A tree provides a living and lasting way to remember someone special. You can arrange to do this with carefully selected local companies who give a donation to Treetops.

These companies include Co-Treetment which offers memorial Trees for Treetops in the National Forest in the East Midlands.

To talk about this and other options, please call Julie Walker, Legacy and In Memoriam Relationships Manager, on 07769 318433 (Monday to Wednesday).

Fundraising Events

We organise events throughout the year with many people choosing to take part and raise money in memory of someone special. Some people prefer to do their own fundraising and there are ideas and resources on our website to help with this.

Light up a Life

Christmas can be a time when you think of someone special and miss them greatly. Each year, we welcome you to remember them with us at Treetops for our Light Up a Life service. We also offer relatives and friends an opportunity to dedicate a light on our Christmas tree.  Look out for more information in September.

Volunteering

More than 400 people give their time to Treetops. Many do this as a tangible way of giving back in memory. There are many ways to volunteer, such as in our shops, with fundraising, in our offices and with our Wellbeing service.

A Gift in your Will

You could choose to leave a gift in your Will to Treetops. Two in every five of our patients are cared for thanks to a gift in a Will. Every gift we receive makes a difference.
