Our Winter Social is one of several annual events at which we thank staff and volunteers for their contribution and reaching 5 and 10-year milestones.
Over half the volunteers receiving awards are based in our nineteen charity shops located across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
Income from our charity shops helps us provide nursing care and emotional support for local patients, those who’ve been bereaved, and their families.
Volunteers provide a vital role in our charity shops. Anna Bown, Volunteer Support Co-ordinator, explains more:
“Volunteers are integral to each shop, helping with a wide range of roles from receiving and sorting donations, to serving customers.
We’d love to hear from enthusiastic people with spare time on their hands to help with the key tasks that ensure each shop runs smoothly.
