An experiential and learner-led 2-day certificate course for senior healthcare professionals who want to enhance their communication skills to deal with challenging situations such as:
- Breaking bad news
- Discussing complex treatment plans with patients
- Talking to a distressed or angry patient or their family
- Performance managing or dealing with difficult colleagues
Limited to small numbers, the course includes discussion of direct evidence base with application to communication in practice including RealTalk, filmed role play with actors and supportive and constructive feedback in a safe environment.
This course will contribute 12 hours of CPD.
