We offer counselling and emotional support to adults, children, young people and families who are dealing with a life-limiting illness or bereavement. The service is available to all users of Treetops Hospice Care services and people registered with a GP practice in Derby city or Southern Derbyshire.

Sessions take place at the Cheetham Centre within the main grounds of Treetops Hospice Care in Risley. In exceptional circumstances and if it can be resourced, sessions may take place in your home if it is difficult for you to access the centre. We also offer a Student Placement Service.

How it works

All services are provided free of charge, and are not means-tested. Phone or email the Counselling and Emotional Support Service on 0115 949 6944 or therapy@treetopshospice.org.uk

We will arrange an assessment with you, at which the most appropriate form of support for you can be discussed.

More information

Treetops Hospice Care is a registered charity, which costs £4.3 million each year to run. We have to raise 70% of this, £8,300 a day, through voluntary donations, our shops, fundraising events, lottery memberships and gifts in wills.
