We are offering BD BodyGuard™ T syringe driver training here at Treetops Hospice, for registered nurses and senior healthcare workers. The training will facilitate:
Increased confidence in delivering end of life care.
Symptom management
Learning what a syringe driver is and identifying when a syringe driver might be appropriate.
How to obtain a syringe driver.
Correct monitoring and documentation.
Knowing where to find guidance, resources, and support.
Practical session involving a scenario and preparation of a syringe.
This course will contribute 3 hours of CPD towards NMC Revalidation.
Helpful to know we can have support when we have residents who are at the end of their life.”
