Charity Fundraiser

The Treetops Lottery is a highly successful form of fundraising for us. Since 1996, the Treetops Lottery and the people that play, have helped to raise over £8million for hospice care in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

About you

Are you:

  • living in or within travelling distance of the NG and DE postcode areas?
  • a car driver with a full driving licence and your own vehicle?
  • an effective and engaging communicator, able to strike up a rapport with a stranger in a face-to-face situation?
  • self-motivated with a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic?

About us
This position will not be directly employed by Treetops Hospice. You will be employed by a third-party Fundraising Agency.

We are seeking a number of people to work on either a full or part time basis recruiting supporters by promoting the Hospice Lottery by way of monthly direct debit donations.

Working in places such as shops, garden centres, town centres, at hospice events, or visiting people at home, you will become a passionate representative of the hospice. You will gain immense satisfaction from the benefits your hard work produces for us, our patients, and their families.

Previous experience is not essential as training will be provided. You will become a passionate advocate for the hospice movement, enjoy engaging with people from all walks of life, be resilient and determined to succeed.

Finance Administrator

Interview date: Monday 22 September 2025 This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an administrator to join us in this varied and interesting role. The successful candidate will have broad-based office and administration experience with knowledge of using Accounts software and journal work. An AAT qualification or similar would be desirable but is not essential for the role. In addition, you will have excellent organisational and communication skills, be computer literate (Microsoft Office) and be able to multitask and prioritise demands. You will have experience of working in a busy environment and be able to demonstrate the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality. People Services Assistant (Temporary)

Interview date: Wednesday 10 September 2025 This is a rare opportunity to gain or develop experience in a people management by joining a small team in this varied and interesting role. The duties include mainly clerical duties and assisting the development and delivery of People Services processes and procedures. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, be computer literate (Microsoft 365) and be able to multi-task and prioritise demands. You will have experience of working accurately to deadlines in a busy environment and be able to demonstrate the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality. Previous experience of dealing with HR/Volunteer administration is required, as is experience of database input; hands on experience of dealing with people issues either in an HR/Volunteer or a line management capacity would also be an advantage. We are looking for someone to start ASAP until the end of the year.
