Tours

Book a Tour

Book a tour of your local hospice During the 90-minute tour over a cuppa and cake, we will tell you a little of our history and how Treetops has grown from a campaign run by local people to the organisation it is today and how, thanks to the support of our community, we continue to develop to meet the needs of local people. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy the 12.5 acre grounds. Our tours are free of charge to those who attend. Tour Dates Tour dates are available on specific days in the form. Joining a Tour There is a maximum number of 12 people for each tour, so we ask you to book a place/s. On Saturday 20 June 2026, the hospice gardens will become a tranquil space for reflection and remembrance. Dedicate a Forget‑Me‑Not For £30, you can reserve your own engraved Forget‑Me‑Not flower in memory of someone special. Your tribute will join many others in a shared celebration of love, life, and cherished memories. It represents someone loved, someone missed, and someone remembered. It’s also a beautiful keepsake—a symbol of peace and comfort for all those we care for. We invite everyone to join us in creating a moment of beauty and reflection this summer.” After the installation concludes, your Forget‑Me‑Not will be yours to keep—a lasting symbol of remembrance for your home or garden. Wills

Confessions of a Probate Lawyer

After helping to write over 7,500 Wills during her career, retired probate solicitor, Jayne Smith, knows just what can happen if people don’t put their affairs in order before they die. “If you don't make a Will, then you have no say in who gets what when you're gone. The Government decides for you. “There’s also a common misconception that if you’re married, your spouse will automatically inherit everything when you die. This is not always true.” During ‘Confessions of a Probate Lawyer’, Jayne looks back over her career and shares anonymous examples of the outcomes of having no Will, or a poorly-written Will. You could be in the audience to hear these anecdotes, find out the pitfalls of not having a Will and hear how easy it can be for you to make a Will with Treetops support. The next sessions for this FREE event are: Friday 13 March 2026 (1.30pm) Monday 27 April 2026 (12.30pm) [button url="mailto:Johanne.musson@treetopshospice.org.uk" template="block" class="btn-block--red"]Book your FREE tickets[/button] Jayne’s talk is one of several free resources offered by Treetops Hospice to help people write or update their Will. Gifts left in Wills for the hospice help provide end-of-life nursing care for up to two in five of their Hospice at Home patients.
