Robin Hood Half Marathon

Take on one of the UK’s most iconic city races and make a real difference for local people living with a life‑limiting illness, by running for Treetops Hospice. Every mile you run helps provide vital care for families across central and southern Derbyshire. Derby 10 Mile

Treetops Hospice are the Charity of the Year for this event! Taking place this November the race is a sell out every year and has become firm favourites in the region’s running calendar. The Derby 10 Mile is a fast and flat road race that takes runners through the picturesque Elvaston Castle Country Park. This annual event, part of the popular RunDerby Race Series, attracts participants from across the UK and is an ideal challenge for runners of all abilities. Showcasing the scenic beauty of the Derbyshire countryside, the race offers a truly enjoyable experience for both experienced and novice runners alike. Every mile you complete helps fund vital end‑of‑life care across central and southern Derbyshire. We ask all Treetops runners to raise a minimum of £108, enough to fund a night of Hospice at Home care for a patient and their family. Remembrance

Light up a Life Event

There will be reflective readings and festive carols accompanied by the Stapleford Citadel Band.  The lights on the Treetops Hospice Christmas Tree will be turned on and we will take a moment to remember loved ones who are no longer with us.   This is an outdoor event and there is no seating available, please come dressed for the weather. You may like to bring a torch.  The event will be signed in Makaton There will be readings, poems, songs and more. The event is free to attend, please book. Easter Egg Hunt

THIS EVENT IS NOW CLOSED FOR 2026. THANK YOU ALL  FOR ATTENDING Bring the family together for some egg-cellent fun, and join our Easter Egg Hunt in Derbyshire. Returning to our grounds on Risley for the first time since 2019, the Easter Egg Hunt will see you and your little ones hop around our gardens, as you take part in a fun scavenger hunt. Find all the clues and receive an Easter Egg. Taking place in Spring 2027, the Derby 10K welcome thousands of runners each year to take on the challenge around the city's streets, on a flat, fast, traffic free route.
