Creating conversations around dying, death and bereavement
Death Cafe
Our death cafes are a relaxed drop-in where everyone can come together to reflect on the culture of dying, and how we talk about it.
And we’re taking it on the road! Would you like us to bring our Death Cafe to your community group, workplace or school?
We know the idea might sound unusual but we want to create a friendly, warm and informal space to come together and have encouraging conversations about a topic that impacts us all, making it part of life rather than a subject to be avoided.
Let’s talk about dying and death together
Our team will be on hand and happy to have conversations or answer any questions. We can also provide information about power of attorney, finances, future care planning, RESPECT and making a Will.

Treetops Hospice is a registered charity. It costs over £5.7 million a year to keep our doors open, but we only get a little funding from government bodies, roughly 18%. The rest of our funding comes from supporters.
