You are invited to join us at our annual Light up a Life event at Treetops Hospice, Risley.
Sunday 6 December 2026, 4pm – 5:30pm
You are warmly invited to join us at our annual Light up a Life event at Treetops Hospice, Risley, as we come together to remember and celebrate the lives of those we love and miss. As part of this special evening, our beautiful lime tree will be illuminated in their memory, creating a meaningful tribute to those who hold a special place in our hearts.
Our Light up a Life ceremony will include reflective readings, personal stories, and festive carols, offering a chance for remembrance, reflection and togetherness. Following the ceremony, you are invited to take part in our brand-new Lantern Walk, creating a beautiful procession of light and remembrance. Tealights will also be available.
After the ceremony, join us in the Cheetham Centre, where you can enjoy festive refreshments and browse a selection of seasonal stalls.
The event is free to attend, please book.

- Limited seating will be available during the ceremony.
- The Lantern Walk will take place outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather.
- Disabled parking will be available on site.
- All other attendees are kindly asked to park on Derby Road.
