IT Technician

Treetops Hospice provides nursing and therapeutic care alongside emotional support for anyone affected by a life-limiting illness in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. We are seeking a compassionate and technically skilled IT Technician to support in the digital infrastructure of the organisation.  This role is essential in ensuring our staff and volunteers have secure, reliable access to systems that enable the delivery of high-quality community based palliative care and support services. The Treetops Lottery is a highly successful form of fundraising for us. Since 1996, the Treetops Lottery and the people that play, have helped to raise over £8million for hospice care. We are looking to expand the team. If you are looking for a role that is flexible, gives you the opportunity to get out and about in your local area and make a real difference to people living with a life-limiting illness in your local community, read on. Main Purpose: To promote Treetops lottery to the public through Door to Door promotions, at events, static venues and Treetops shops. To increase lottery memberships through these promotions. Key Responsibilities: Door to door promotions in the local area to raise awareness of the services that our charity provides Handing out leaflets & giving information about the lottery and the Hospice to the public at allocated venues & events Enlisting new members to the lottery by way of regular giving through monthly direct debits An induction and full training will be given for these activities. This list is not exhaustive. At Treetops Hospice, we believe everyone living within the communities we serve should have access to high-quality end-of-life care. We are looking for an organised, compassionate and proactive Clinical Coordinator to join our Integrated Clinical Services team and help us deliver exceptional care and support to patients and families. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of the Treetops Hospice Hub, supporting the coordination of our clinical services and ensuring patients, carers and healthcare professionals receive a responsive and seamless experience. As Clinical Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the operational delivery of our clinical services. Working closely with our Palliative Care Nurses, you will help coordinate referrals, services, volunteers, patient feedback and data reporting. No two days will be the same. One day you may be coordinating the Day Roaming Service and organising volunteer cover for a support group, while the next you could be producing service reports, gathering patient feedback or supporting the delivery of our Support and Information Cafés. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator or coordinator who enjoys working in a healthcare, community or voluntary sector environment and wants to make a meaningful difference to people's lives Applications will be assessed on a rolling basis, and if successful, we will contact you for an interview. As part of our five year ‘Invest to Grow’ strategy, we have an opening to support and grow our Corporate and Community fundraising. We have strong community support and are looking for someone to build this vital income stream by creating strong relationships which in turn results in securing the delivery of compassionate hospice care. Your role will be varied by spending time in the community or in the office and occasional time working at home.
