Skydive Day

Join the group Team Treetops as we host a skydive day at Langar Airfield!  This is a fantastic opportunity to take to the sky and come together, supporting your local community and be part of an amazing day. We will be there to cheer you on and stand by you and all the others jumping for Treetops Hospice. Imagine this… you’re sitting in the doorway of an aircraft, your feet dangling below you. You look up and see the clouds above – you’re flying at 14,000 feet! Imagine leaning forward out of that doorway and letting go, falling into the clouds below, free-falling at over 120mph before the parachute opens and you begin to descend over the beautiful local countryside. Take a deep breath, make the leap and book your place today. It will be the most exhilarating thing you ever do! Raise £432 or more and jump for free! Way of the Roses

Take on an unforgettable challenge this June and cycle the breathtaking Way of the Roses in support of Treetops Hospice. This iconic 172‑mile coast‑to‑coast route is completed over several days, giving riders the chance to enjoy the scenery, chat, laugh, and experience the journey together. ⏰ Leaving Treetops at 8am on Friday 12 June 🚲 All transport and trip logistics included. Participants are required to pay for their own food and accommodation. This is a social, inclusive charity ride—perfect for anyone who wants to take part in something meaningful without the pressure of racing. Electric bikes are welcome, making the event accessible to riders of all abilities. Why your fundraising matters: All participants are asked to raise a minimum of £400, with every penny raised helping support our end-of-life care, bereavement support and wellbeing services throughout central and southern Derbyshire. The Great North Swim

Make a splash for local hospice care by donning your swimsuit and taking on The Coventry Building Society Great North Swim in support of Treetops Hospice. Taking place from 12–14 June 2026 at Brockhole‑on‑Windermere, this iconic open‑water event is perfect for anyone ready to dive into an unforgettable challenge for Treetops. As one of the UK’s biggest open‑water swims, it’s ideal for all abilities, from seasoned swimmers to first‑timers. With a fully supported course, a festival‑style atmosphere and breathtaking scenery, you’re guaranteed an incredible experience. Memory Meadow

On Saturday 20 June 2026, the hospice gardens will become a tranquil space for reflection and remembrance. Hundreds of Forget‑Me‑Not sculptures—each around 8cm wide and standing 35cm tall—will come together to form a beautiful collective tribute for families, friends, and our wider community. Dedicate a Forget‑Me‑Not For £30, you can reserve your own engraved Forget‑Me‑Not flower in memory of someone special. Your tribute will join many others in a shared celebration of love, life, and cherished memories. Longshaw Walk

The climbs and descents are modest, and the obstacles are few. There'll be some superb views from the high ground of Higger Tor and the iron age walls of Carl Wark before heading out in the direction of Millstone Edge. This Walk starts from Longshaw visitor centre and finishes by the National Trust's Longshaw café. #TeamTreetops can refuel with a view over the valley and celebrate our phenomenal success! This will be a sociable walk with an emphasis on soaking up the views at a relaxed pace and moving safely through the rocky sections. Step out of your comfort zone to support your local hospice. Moonlight Walk

Interested in taking part in 2026's Moonlight Walk? Register your interest TODAY Our Moonlight Walk returns to Derby Market Hall and we want YOU to join us! Taking place on Friday 18 September (5-10pm), this year's Moonlight Walk will see hundreds of supporters sparkle as they walk in memory of loved ones, with family and friends, brightening up the Derby night, on our special route... and you could join them. By taking on either the 5K or 10K, fully-marshalled route, and fundraising for your local hospice, you'll help Treetops provide nursing care, palliative care and emotional support for adults and their families in central and southern Derbyshire. Whether you’re walking to support Treetops Hospice or in memory of someone special, every step you take will help make a difference. Doors open at 5pm and we’ll kick the night off in style with accessory stalls and plenty of entertainment, before the official warm-up ahead of the walks starting at 630pm. As you walk the route and reach Derby Cathedral, there will be an opportunity to light a candle in memory of someone special. Ticket Prices: Early Bird (until 7pm Friday 29 May) £12 – Adult £12 – Child £24 – Family ticket (one adult + one child) Special offer: Buy 5 tickets, get the 6th free Standard Tickets (from 7pm Friday 29 May) £18 – Adult £18 – Child £36 – Family ticket (one adult + one child) Special offer: Buy 5 tickets, get the 6th free Why Your Fundraising Matters: Every step you take and pound you raise helps local people living with life-limiting illnesses receive the care they deserve. We suggest you raise a minimum of £50 per person in sponsorship. This could help a patient receive four hours of end-of-life nursing care, in the comfort of their own home. With your help, we want to raise £53,000 in sponsorship from this event which could provide over 490 local people living with a life-limiting illness, who have chosen to die in their own home, receive a night of Hospice at Home nursing care. Remembrance

Light up a Life Event

There will be reflective readings and festive carols accompanied by the Stapleford Citadel Band.  The lights on the Treetops Hospice Christmas Tree will be turned on and we will take a moment to remember loved ones who are no longer with us.   This is an outdoor event and there is no seating available, please come dressed for the weather. You may like to bring a torch.  The event will be signed in Makaton There will be readings, poems, songs and more. The event is free to attend, please book. A huge THANK YOU to all the Santas who donned their suits and took part in our first ever Santas on a Bike event on Sunday 21 December 2025.
