Treetops Hospice is a leading end-of-life care charity for Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. We open our arms and hearts to support thousands of local people, and their families, through the most difficult time of their lives.

Our mission 

To make every day count through giving the highest quality support for patients and families living with life-limiting illness or affected by death and dying.

Finance Administrator

Interview date: Monday 22 September 2025 This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an administrator to join us in this varied and interesting role. The successful candidate will have broad-based office and administration experience with knowledge of using Accounts software and journal work. An AAT qualification or similar would be desirable but is not essential for the role. In addition, you will have excellent organisational and communication skills, be computer literate (Microsoft Office) and be able to multitask and prioritise demands. You will have experience of working in a busy environment and be able to demonstrate the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality. Shop Manager Long Eaton Shop

Interview date: Monday, 8 September  The main purpose of the role is to generate income for the hospice and lead a team, including volunteers. The successful candidate will possess excellent customer service and communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to lift, carry and sort donations within the shop. Retail experience to management level is essential, and a full driving licence is desirable. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, hard-working retail environment and contribute to Treetops Hospice. People Services Assistant (Temporary)

Interview date: Wednesday 10 September 2025 This is a rare opportunity to gain or develop experience in a people management by joining a small team in this varied and interesting role. The duties include mainly clerical duties and assisting the development and delivery of People Services processes and procedures. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, be computer literate (Microsoft 365) and be able to multi-task and prioritise demands. You will have experience of working accurately to deadlines in a busy environment and be able to demonstrate the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality. Previous experience of dealing with HR/Volunteer administration is required, as is experience of database input; hands on experience of dealing with people issues either in an HR/Volunteer or a line management capacity would also be an advantage. We are looking for someone to start ASAP until the end of the year.
